One Day Across Michigan (ODAM)
Bat bridge in Austin

Ken and Martha Riddle have hosted this annual challenge ride since 1996. The ride is loosely based off the LMB sponsored ODRAM, which was discontinued in the early 90's (reinstated 2000). The ride starts promptly at 6:00AM from Muskegon State Park and finishes at East Bay City State Park with 160 miles of riding in between. The route passes through the heartland of Michigan, traversing the counties of Muskegon, Newaygo, Mecosta, Isabella, Midland and Bay.
The ride was offered in 1999 but not attempted for lack of interest. Year 2001 was the Windsor to Toronto ride so we didn't feel like it was necessary to offer the one day with such a wonderful challenge ride already being offered. The only things anyone needs to do this ride is a personal sag, a bicycle, the training/ability to ride 160 miles (we can assist anyone in getting ready for this challenge), and very little common sense (who in their right mind would want to ride 160 miles).
