About Us:
The Cycling Saddlemen Bicycling Club has been riding the roads of Dearborn, Michigan since 1969. Our Club consists of a fun, eclectic group of people with a shared fondness for cycling. We have a wide range of ages and ability. So, whether you're looking for company on a casual roll, or an air-sucking, hammer-fest, we probably have a ride for you. We are not a race club! The primary goal is to have fun with an emphasis on road safety.
The club sponsors weekly rides in the Dearborn area from May through October. Check out the club ride schedule for detailed information, or contact us.
The best way to guage your training and improvement is through a time trial. The Personal Achievement Time Trial (PATT) is held once a month and free to all members. To view the results of the trials held this year, click here
In addition, the club sponsors three popular cycling events; The First Dozen on New Years Day, the Farm Lake Tour held in June and the Hines Park Time Trial also held in the Summer. Club members also participate in organized rides sponsored by other local cycling clubs.
The club holds a monthly meeting throughout the year. Members receive a monthly newsletter, an invitation to our annual awards banquet, and summer picnic. Best of all, you'll have a great opportunity to make new friends, improve your cycling skills and have fun!
