Start-Finish Location:

Start Times:
A preliminary list of start times will be posted on this website by Midnight Thursday, August 5, 2010. Start times will be available by race sequence and by last name. Again, this will be a preliminary list and subject to minor changes. 'Stuff' happens and there's always some last minute adjustments to the race sequence.
Individual TT:
First racer released at 8:00 with successive racers at 30-second intervals grouped by category. Juniors will lead-off the race with a 10-minute buffer.
Team TT:
The first team will start a half-hour after the conclusion of the Individual race with successive teams at 2-minute intervals. This is an extremely fun and unique opportunity to race a Team TT. There's plenty of time between the individual race and the Team event. We highly encourage every club/team throughout Michigan to be represented. New this year, mixed teams compete in a separate category.
Eddy Merckx Competition:
Who needs aerodynamics? Race the course like Eddy 'the Cannibal' Merckx using a regular road bike: standard drop handlebars, only - NO aerobars allowed! Both wheels must be the same size and have a metal rim and spokes.
Registration:
All athletes MUST pre-register for this race by midnight on Tuesday - August 3, 2010. There will NOT be race-day registration!
Athletes may download an application from this website or register online using Active.Com (Click Here)

Course:
The 12-mile (20km), out-n-back course will be closed to all motorized traffic. The winding roadway is in good shape with gently rolling terrain. The route is clearly marked with large banners at both endpoints and mile markers along the way to help pace your effort. Our support team will be posted along the route and equipped with basic repair supplies (pump, tubes, tools) and cell phone - just in case.
The parkway will be closed at 7:00AM. Please use an alternate route to the start-finish area.
Do NOT warm-up on the course. There's plenty of roadway around the area to utilize.
USA Cycling License:
As a USA Cycling licensed event, all athletes are required to have a valid race license or will be required to purchase a One-Day license on race-day for an additional $10.
All athletes must complete and sign the standard USA Cycling Waiver Form.
